As the Chief Executive at Lecours, I’m responsible for leading my colleagues and driving our business forward. I am deeply involved in all aspects of the work we do and am full of pride for our team’s success and the culture of collaboration we have built here. I show up every day to listen and learn, to work through challenges and to solve problems. I strive to create a positive and inclusive environment and surround myself with great people. As a group, our goal is to develop long-term mutually beneficial relationships with clients and candidates. These relationships mean that people can connect with their colleagues, understand their customers, and find meaning in their work. I joined Lecours Wolfson in 1992, became a partner in 1999 and have been the sole owner since 2021. I genuinely love my work and have spent my life contributing to the industry. My early background in Hospitality gives me a perspective for the roles we fill, the clients we serve and the talent we help. As Principal, I am always aiming to support a successful and resilient sector.

Joining Lecours Wolfson in 2001, I have built a practice based on providing my clients with a transparent recruitment process which is focused on targeting passive candidates. In this market, I believe that the truly successful are not actively looking – they need to have access to a resource where they can ask pointed questions about the merits of the opportunity – they want and demand a three dimensional look at a company and opportunity versus a one dimensional ad or posting. We measure a prospective candidate’s EQ in addition to their hard skills so that our clients hire the best available candidate in terms of pedigree and cultural fit. We provide our clients with comprehensive headhunt reports within 10 days of search initiation – you have the right to a transparent view of how you are being positioned in the market. We are the antithesis of most recruitment firms in that we take a more targeted aggressive approach to recruitment and unlike most of our competition we have the human resources to handle that methodology.

I pride myself on being the hardest working recruiter in the markets I serve. I have been recruiting mid to senior level roles for over 15 years. Integrity, honesty and doing what is best for my clients are always top of mind. I am results-driven, have a strong ability to close and I look to make the right long-term match for both client and candidate. Having strong instincts, the ability to source and get the best candidates to the table, I leave no stone unturned. When given the go-ahead on a search, I will dig with a sense of urgency until I have sourced a selection of experienced, high achieving candidates. I joined Lecours in 1994 after many years and many senior roles with leading hotels and restaurants in Toronto. Upon graduating from Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson), I imparted my love and passion for operations and my knack for developing relationships with all levels of hospitality professionals and was readily recruited into the talent management industry. My goal as a recruitment leader is to use my sincere experience and expertise to build trust with my clients so that they see me as a partner in their HR efforts. I am always available for a conversation over coffee or lunch and will meet you with the utmost respect and professionalism. I have shared my knowledge and guidance with the many recruiters who have come through Lecours as well as hospitality students at George Brown College and I will continue to do so with future generations of hospitality specialists.

I joined Lecours in 2014 after over a decade of hands-on hospitality experience. In that time, I have built a reputable search practice, developed loyal partnerships and have successfully completed hundreds of searches. As Senior Director, Client Services I’m known for my unwavering integrity, exceptionally high standards and having an innate understanding of the industries we serve. My search practice includes mid to executive level roles in private clubs, boutique hotels, luxury retail brands, independent restaurants, sales & marketing, and catering & events. At Lecours, we align ourselves with some of Canada’s top employers and international brands and have worked on many high-profile, confidential searches. Our approach to recruitment is to be discreet, pointed and thorough and we take pride in having a nuanced understanding of our clients’ unique needs and expectations.

I have been a Director of Client Services with Lecours since 2016. My professional background includes Tech Sales and Large Format Hospitality Industry General Management. I work closely with a team who’s path to success relies on collaboration, shared knowledge and integrity. My approach is consultative with a strong focus on service. I have recruited in multiple sectors from middle management through executive-level roles. Focusing on a broad range of clients, my practice specializes in Casual and Quick Service Restaurant Management General Management, Sales & Marketing, Retail, Human Resources, Finance, Operations and Administration.

I joined Lecours Wolfson in August of 2021 after a successful run as an Owner, Executive Chef and catering focused entrepreneur in Toronto. Through my work and deep-rooted beliefs in giving back to my community, I have created lasting connections and meaningful relationships with hospitality professionals across the country. As part of giving back, I spent more than four years in operations with The Stop Community Food Centre, (one of Canada’s first food banks) and worked to provide sustainable and nutritious meals for those in need. My approach to recruiting is performed with an equal level of enthusiasm. My methodology is knowledge based, relationship focused, and thorough. I specialize in Executive Search in all areas of Hospitality, Foodservice and the Cannabis industry.

I began my hospitality career as a student in the ’90s. While working my way through various educations and employments, Hospitality was my beacon. My backbone. To this industry, I brought my passions for performance, writing and creating exceptional experiences. With an unparalleled energy and enthusiasm (just ask my colleagues), I tackled the Toronto scene, growing as a leader and planner. I utilized my keen eye for detail and instinctive organization skills as a Manager and Event Coordinator in the downtown core. After over two decades and a new world order, I was ready for a shift. I have the deepest gratitude to the team at Lecours for welcoming me and supporting my success into this exciting new role. My focus is on all areas of Food-Service, Culinary Operations, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, Engineering/Maintenance and Finance.

I love entertaining and celebrating life over a good bottle of wine and with great food. Building relationships and connections are so important to me. This is why I fell in love with the hospitality industry at the age of 18. This business has allowed me to grow, develop and maintain many wonderful colleague and client bonds over the past 20 years.
